Non Violent Communication

Learning how to remove violent language from our thoughts enables a life imbued with compassion for ourselves and others, a life without blame and self-recrimination.  With new levels of self-acceptance we are more favourably placed to make clear requests of the people around us and actually get what we want without having to manipulate or coerce which invariably backfires.   Identifying feelings and using their associated needs helps the process of developing empathy for everyone, including ourselves.

Having led varied groups sharing this practice for over 4 years and with hundreds of people, it is possible to offer a highly distilled presentation of a deep technique that can be catered to any group.

There are two excellent books that can be used as study aids:

The Language of Life by Marshall Rosenberg Don't Be Nice, Be Real by Kelly Bryson
